- WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
I’ve been involved of a serious study of critical pedagogy for about the last two years. I read Pedagogy of the Oppressed back in the but did not move much beyond the critique of “banking education”. I have read case studies of critical pedagogy, but this is first time that I’ve actually seen it working in practice. This has been a very exciting experience for me and raises my
hopes for the projects that I hope to initiate at Barnabas House.
DR. Brian Jennings - CHAIRPERSON OF ACTION RESEARCH AND ACTION ASSOCIATION. (JUSTICE UNIT - SEPTEMBER,2019)
“You are awakening young people into the spirit of love, life and truth. This programme is wonderful and terrific. Going through the training, I was touched deep and awakened. As a teacher, I have always looked for ways I could share knowledge with my students, in a more creative and liberating way than the traditional approach of ‘dumping information’ on students.my encounter with the Programme was timely and I believe by providence. This is what I have always been looking for.
Zac (member of Evangelical Pentecostal Church) (LEADERSHIP – SEPTEMBER,2019).
“SELL programme Ghana is just the kind of formation I need in this point of my life."
JENNIFER TEMBILE, TAMALE SELL TEAM (JUNE, 2019)
I have been involved with the SELL Foundation since its beginning, and without hesitation, I can say it is a programme that I would recommend wholeheartedly for anyone interested in reaching youth in all aspects of their lives. It approaches them as whole human beings, mind, body, emotions and spirit. If you want holistic development of youth, go for it with SELL.
Rita Schwarzenberger, founder Hope for the Village Child Foundation, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
The Sharing Education and Learning for Life (SELL) programme is committed to the development of the human person in aspects of moral re-orientation and attitudinal change. I have found the programme to be open to all young people not minding their ethnic or religious background. SELL is especially necessary in the world today because many youth are enmeshed in poverty, ethno-religious and political crises. I invite all to join the SELL team and continue the good work. I am delighted to warmly and enthusiastically recommend the SELL manual because the over-all vision of human life which underpins the material is very impressive indeed. I am confident that the manual will be of great benefit to many people and I hope that it will be widely used.
