Beji Benjamin Jibe
Programmes Coordinator / Child Safeguarding Officer of SELL Nigeria
Beji Benjamin Jibe is the Programmes Coordinator / Child Safeguarding Officer of SELL Nigeria. He has over 15 years experience in facilitating peace building programmes in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Tanzania. He is an Alternative to Violence Project (AVP) facilitator, Gender Equality advocate, lay counsellor, and recently has been facilitating Child Safeguarding training in the North-Eastern States of Nigeria and Plateau State.
He has vast experience in Proposal writing, Training programme design and development, Designing and Implementing Monitoring and Evaluation System, lobbying and advocacy, Project Management, Volunteer Management, Capacity Building, Mediation, Trauma Conscious and Resilience, Preventing/ Countering Violent Extremism.
Beji has just completed a Bsc. Political Science from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) , Diploma in Law from the University of Jos, Diploma in Development Education: Training for Transformation from the Kimmage Development Study Centre in Ireland and the South- African based Training for Transformation Programme
He is a Board of Directors member of the Training for Transformation based in South Africa, Member Emergency Preparedness and Response Team Bassa LGA (Plateau State) Member Peace Practitioners Forum, Member Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) Action Committee set up by the wife of the Bauchi State Governor.

Mary James
ADMIN / FINANCE OFFICER
Mary James is a highly skilled development worker who is motivated about mentorship for Peace Building and Community development for sustainable growth. She is a mediator, a creative animator with an analytical mind who demonstrates good problem solving skills. She is a mentor who is passionate about positive change. This attracted her to volunteer with Sharing Education and Learning for Life Foundation who shared in her life purpose of service to humanity. She wanted to support people to discover who they are, and to work in an environment where she would be able to affect the growth of the community, the organization and the world at large, without compromising her need for personal growth and development. She has over 10 years of professional experience, skill, knowledge and expertise in West Africa, South Africa and the Middle East. She specializes in development works; Peace Building, Community engagement, Education, Gender Reconciliation , Conflict resolution, Projects Writing, Administration and Financial accounting, Lobbying and Advocacy, Trauma Consciousness and Resilience. Countering Violence extremism. She was trained as a professional Facilitator between 2009 and 2010 while volunteering with SELL. Thereafter in 2010-2011 she was a Coordinator Youth Formation Center. The centre runs formative and transformative programmes for young adults and schools in Bauchi/Gombe State. In 2012-2015 she worked as a programme officer in SELL Programme, Nigeria. After a structural adjustment of the SELL Programme in 2015, she became the Communications, Administrative and Programme officer between 2016- 2018. She is a graduate of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi and currently holds a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) In view from National Open University of Nigeria and Masters of Science (MSC) in Public Administration in view at Bauchi State University respectively. Aside her background in Public Administration, she acquired International Diploma in Development Education from Training for Transformation in South Africa and Kimmage Development Studies Centre, Dublin, Ireland. As part of career advancement, she obtained a diploma in advanced Excel and quick books accounting from Professor Iya Abubakar Resource Centre, Bauchi in 2019. Certificate in Countering Violence Extremism from Carefronting Nigeria and Centre for Global and Cooperative Security in 2018. These experiences have added value to her life and the vision of SELL where she works at the moment as Finance/ Administrative Officer, content developer and a Facilitator.

Charles Livinus Polok
MONITORING/EVALUATION OFFICER
I was educated at the University of Jos, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication. I joined the Resource team of SELL FOUNDATION in January 2018. Prior to joining the Resource team, I was a volunteer for the Foundation since 2013. I am a certified training facilitator and I have done courses on Monitoring and Evaluation.
I have work experience with Community Based Care and Support (CBCS) programme, an NGO of the Catholic Diocese of Shendam, Nigeria where I served in different capacities, among which are: M&E officer, Training Coordinator, and the HIV Counseling and Testing Officer at different times.

Emily Ranna Yinala
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
I am Emily Ranna Yinala, I hail from Zing Local Government in Taraba State. I am a graduate of Languages and linguistics from the Benue State University and currently undergoing my Master's programme in English Language in Gombe State University.
I am an energetic and ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake or situation I am presented with. Aside from my writing skills, I'm also into facilitation, report writing, article writing, proposal writing, training of trainers, monitoring and evaluation, blogging, workshops /seminars among others and have also participated and acquired certificates within and outside my working place.
I came in contact with the SELL programme in 2008 and have volunteered for the programme and later joined the SELL Resource Team in November, 2016. My love for the SELL programme and the inspiration from my SELL mentors both (past and present) has helped to strengthen my capacity to be where I am today.
The SELL programme itself has also helped to shaped my life positively with numerous impacts. Currently I am serving as the public relations/communications officer and that has strengthen my professional communications (written and oral) skills within and outside the working space. I look forward to utilizing my creative knowledge and developing my writing skills further.
Over the years, SELL keeps evolving, therefore, everything about SELL interests me especially when it concerns youth development.

Experience: Training of trainers both in Hausa and English languages:Facilitation: Facilitation of meetings, workshop, reconciliation, seminar both in English and Hausa.
Translation: Translation of items from English to Hausa for effective reach out to local communities in the Northeast .
Planning: Planning of activities, preparing Schema for training, developing of new topics.
Budgeting: Effective budgeting of planned activities.
Proposal writing: To contribute to already exiting effort by some organization, conducting effective baseline/ listening survey and implementation.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Monitoring & evaluation of implemented activities indicating the mid term evaluation, end of program evaluation, identifying the key points for effective reporting.

Resource People

Leo Traynor is a priest of St. Patrick’s Missionary Society (SPMS). He has over twenty years experience in Nigeria and has worked in Leadership Training and Facilitation in almost all the regions in Nigeria. He worked with SELL Programme Ghana, (an integrated Human Development, Peace Building and Justice Programme for young adults) from 2015 to 2020 as a Resource Person. In 2021 he will introduce the SELL programme in Malawi based in Mzuzu. Among the courses he has taken are the Interfaith Dialogue Programme at the Irish School of Ecumenics, Dublin and the Peace Building Conflict Transformation at the Responding to Conflict (RTC), Birmingham, England. He also took an intensive course in Counselling Skills at the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent College, London, UK.

Tommy Hayden is a priest of St. Patrick’s Missionary Society (SPMS). He has over thirty years experience in Nigeria on various assignment in Leadership and Pastoral duties. He is a resource person for SELL Programme Ghana (an integrated Human Development, Peace Building and Justice Programme for young adults) in areas of Team Building, Creative approaches to facilitation, Safeguarding and intercultural issues. He has taken courses in the Mexican American Cultural Centre, San Antonio, Texas and Intercultural Communication Institute, Portland, Oregon. He is Fluent in Hausa and has helped translate of the SELL Programme Manuals into Hausa. He is currently helping to translate SELL Programme Manual into French. He will be joining the Team to introduce the SELL Programme in Malawi based Mzuzu.
