Hello friends, greetings from us here on the SELL Resource Team, Ghana we hope you are all doing well. We are pleased to once again share with you our work with a group of young people in Bolgatanga the capital of the Upper East Region of Ghana.
Leo and Vincent of the SELL Resource Team worked with 45 young adults who came from various communities surrounding Our Lady Queen of Africa (OLA) community on the leadership unit of the SELL Programme on the weekend of 29th to 31st July, 2016.

It was another interesting experience of seeing young people sharing their experiences together in small group works and presentations on tasks in an atmosphere of mutual respect for one another.
Together with the participants, the team explored sessions on Leadership Styles using Animal Pictures, Attentive Listening and Effective Communication using Pass the Message, Experience of Authority, Leadership and Power using Memories as well as Sexuality and Sexual Health.

At the end of the session on the Saturday evening, the Team together with the participants watched a movie on the life of one of the greatest leaders on the African continent NELSON MANDELA, the focus was on his conversion at the time he was imprisoned and the kind of leadership he exhibited when he was released from prison.

It was very encouraging and exciting reading the insights the young adults gave on the evaluation after the workshop. The entire SELL family is appreciative of the participants and the organizers.
The Team as always is grateful to all of you who have been supporting us in various ways to reach out to the many young adults who needs the support of the SELL Programme.
We will keep updating you on our work here in Ghana.

Hello friends, it was another exciting weekend in Walewale (a town in the West Mamprusi district of the Northern region of Ghana). The weekend’s workshop happens to be the third time the SELL Programme had worked with some young adults in the Northern region and we are excited to share our experience with you.
Vincent and Tommy of the SELL Resource team worked with 26 young adults from 22nd to 24th July, 2016 on the Justice Unit of the SELL Programme. These participants had come from the various communities within the town. Although the rains had been on from the Friday evening and on the Saturday for some hours, the participation was good and the workshop was successful.

Together the group, the Team facilitated and explored sessions on injustice in our societies using the orange code, our perspective of our country using the image of my country and Sexual Health and Sexuality using a mind map.

As always, we on the SELL Resource Team Ghana is grateful to everyone who support the work we do in various ways. We hope to always keep you updated on our work in Ghana.
