Greetings from the gate way of the North East Nigeria (Bauchi State), it’s indeed awesome sharing with you from SELL Foundation again this week.

The SELL Resource Team played host to young youth from Wuntin Dada/ Guru Area of Bauchi town. The team of facilitators, Mary, Berlyn and Beji worked with the teenagers on Self development. According to the facilitators, the 33 participants were very curious and engaging. Sessions on ‘Whose responsibility is it, my personal shield and the things within and out of my control’ were discussed during the workshop. A lot of insights were harvested on how to improve the workshop next time both from participants and facilitators.

At Kona around Jalingo town, Taraba State, Nigeria, John Jiddere mentored the trainees of the Hausa component of SELL in their workshop. He reported that the three facilitators namely; Margaret, Andrew and Beatrice are fast coming up in the Hausa programme. They worked with the participants on ‘Ganewa da kaina’ ie (Self Awareness unit of SELL).

Stay with us on this page for more update, see you again soon.

The Sharing Education and Learning for Life (SELL) Foundation devoted a week to run activities of SELL and other related issues.

This is not the usual training of facilitators, neither is it workshop with groups, but something special which I see will help in creating strong bond among members of the team, create awareness of the Programme to the populace as well as educate participants on the some of the hidden mysteries necessary for human growth and development.

Themed: “Impacting our Generation with Right Mindset” is slated for 25th July to 1st August 2015.

Highlights of the events are as follows;

25th July-Health work

26th July- Self Awareness experience

27th July-Effective communication: Topic: - speak to our hearts and speak like a professional.

28th July –Debate: Topic: - The complete woman, the last piece to a man’s puzzle.

29th July-film show

30th July- Sexual health: Topic: - renewing the consciousness of society, unraveling the myth about sexuality and sexual health.
