Hello everyone!!! Greetings from the SELL Resource team here in Ghana in the Upper East Region, it is another weekend of encounter with a group of young adults and it is a pleasure for us to share with you and keep you updated on the work we do here.
The weekend of 25th to 27th November happened to be the Resource teams’ last major workshop in the year 2016 and it was spent with 42 young adults in the Sirigu community.
Vincent and Leo explored the leadership unit of the SELL Programme with the participants, the sessions explored were on Leadership Styles using Animal Pictures, Attentive Listening and Effective Communication using Pass the Message, Experience of Authority, Leadership and Power using Memories, Sustaining Life forms – a session on Care for the Earth as well as Sexuality and Sexual Health.
As well as the workshop, the team conduction interviews for 14 young adults from the Navrongo area of the SELL community who have been selected to be trained as volunteers in 2017. After the interviews, these young adults signed their pledge commitment forms with excitement.
The experience of the dynamism among the groups we interacted with this weekend was interesting and wonderful.
The Team as always is grateful to all of you who have been supporting us in various ways to reach out to the many young adults who needs the support of the SELL Programme.
