The office has since resumed on the 5th of January 2010.
Since then Moses and Maria went with Tommy Hayden, a Priest of the St. Patrick Missionary Society, to Karenbana community in Niger State of Nigeria. They held a SELL workshop in Hausa with Church leaders and Catechists of the community. About 39 people participated in the workshop. On completing the workshop, Moses and Maria will be attending a capacitors workshop in Abuja.
Meanwhile Leo and I have been busy in the office making preparations for upcoming workshops in Bauchi, Staff of Rantya Model School in Jos and Friends of St. Patrick.
Kudos to the Kabba SELL Team (Taiye Mofolorunsho and James Olorunmolu) who, towards the end of last year, organized a SELL workshop on the Peace Building Unit for the students of the Kogi State Polytechnic Osara, Lokoja Kogi State. They are in the process of organizing another workshop for the youths of Kabba and Okene in Kogi State. Wishing them success for these upcoming workshops.
The Minna SELL Team (Friday, Tony and Francis) with the support of Ngozi and Patricia, also organized a SELL workshop on the Spirituality Unit for their parish in Minna. They had an inter-religious group of Christians and Muslims, with 50 participants in attendance. Thanks to them as they make plans for more SELL workshop Units in Minna.
Finally, we wish all the Facilitators in training and all we have met through the SELL Programme and Vision a Happy New Year. Keep us updated on your plans and the delivery of workshops.
