Similarly, the team trained its volunteers and selected women on Animal rearing/Crop production and the production of briquette as a means of alternative source of cooking and economic empowerment.
The training in Shendam took place on the 28th -29th April, 2023 at Catechetical training Institute (CTI), Shendam Local Government Area. While that of Adamawa took place on the 11th -12th May, 2023 at Bishop Patrick Sheehan Pastoral Centre, Yola.

As a way of empowering SELL volunteers and promoting care for the environment, SELL Foundation Nigeria through the support of its donors supported selected SELL volunteers in Shendam, Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States with small ruminant animals (Goats) as a means of helping to improve and promote their economic growth which will also serve as a means of livelihood.
SELL CONDUCTS LAW REVIEWS, TRAINING ON PRODUCTION OF BRIQUET/ANIMAL REARING IN MAIDUGURI
SELL Foundation Nigeria conducted a three days review on laws and policies affecting safeguarding and violence against persons prohibition as well as trained its volunteers and selected women on Animal rearing/production and production of briquet in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The training took place at St. Hillary’s Hall, Polo, Maiduguri from the 27th -29th April, 2023
SELL DONATES EDUCATIONAL, SPORT ITEMS TO JABI LAMBA CAMP, ADAMAWA STATE
SELL Foundation Nigeria through the support of its donor donated some Educational and sports equipment to the Internal Displaced persons at Jabi Lamba Camp, Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The donation also includes footballs, volleyballs, basketballs, six different pairs of jerseys, Ludo, Skipping ropes, draft, books among others which aim to encourage children’s right to play as well as promote mental wellbeing and social cohesion among the displaced persons in the camp and the host community.
In his remarks, Beji reiterated that the Educational/sporting items were made to encourage children’s right to play, self-care and promote social cohesion.
Edmond Garga the camp manager on behalf of the beneficiaries received with gratitude and enthusiasm and promised that the items which came as a sign of hope and solidarity will be used judiciously.
