The hope of the Sharing Education and Learning for Life (SELL) Programme to reach as many young adults as possible in the West African sub region and beyond with life shaping issues is becoming a reality with the establishment of the Ghana Resource Centre in the North Eastern part of the Country. The Centre which was established by the collaborative effort of the St. Patrick Missionary Society (SPMS) and the Presentation Brothers (West African Province) is located in the Presentation Brothers Education Outreach Centre (EOC) building in Logre, Bolgatanga. Fr. Leo Traynor travelled to Ghana in October 2016 to begin equipping and setting up of the Ghana SELL Resource Centre and with the support of John Evans Barnes and Vincent Agyei of the Kumasi SELL team, the centre is functioning now. The Ghana SELL Resource room is operating currently with a three member resource team of Fr. Tommy Hayden, Vincent Agyei and Fr. Leo Traynor. The team is set to roll out programmes for young adults within and beyond the region and to begin with the explorative and exciting journey of encountering new individuals and youth groups to share experience, and invite them to think and choose to be at peace with themselves and also to be peacemakers in all life situations. Although a slow process, the team is very confident of the success of the SELL programme in Northern Ghana and beyond and we are enthused by the positive responses we are receiving from the youth groups and the people we have encountered in our introductory sessions. Like embarking on a long successful journey, the Ghana SELL Resource Team needs support from all and sundry in their new endeavor. “It is better to light a candle than to curse darkness”. NAMASTE!

Greetings from the "Wild Horse Desert" of South Texas. Hoping all are well there in Ghana (and elsewhere), let me wish you and your team(s) continued success. As a friend of Tommy Hayden, with whom i've regretfully been out-of-touch, please relay my special greetings to him and ask that he attempt to email me (email above). Blessings to you all! elizabeth
